I have a question on an unpainted U.P. frame. Do you include or sell the decals separately so they can be added after painting / clearcoat?

No, we work with the custom painter on the artwork and then they either make their own decal or they paint on the logos. Most custom painters don't use the type of decals we use so they would not work for them.

Is there an image available that we can use to have decals made for ourselves? I love my new RTP frame but it needs some OPEN representation! I'd love to have the multi color band about the lower steer tube also.

Hi Ken, unfortunately there isn't. We've had a case of abuse of such files, so we're a bit reluctant to freely circulate them (there were some non-OPEN OPENs on the German eBay with frames that are incredibly unsafe). I wish the world wasn't that way.

Hi, nice setup! You are an inspiration.

Are there any problems with the GRX 42t chainring + GRX RD-RX812 rear derailleur and the XT 11-46 cassette? Considering this setup. If any modification is needed please let me know (e.g longer chain). Thank you in advance!

Some do it and like it. For me, it's a bit too noisy so I would prefer to run an 10-42 cassette and a 38T chainring which works flawlessly and gives you the same gears.

Hi Richard. as you know the official statement of Shimano is that max size is 42. Of course I have no long term 12 months data but so far this has worked very well for me even more that the 46 is a safety ring and you don't need it a lot. On the 46 you have a bit more "chain noise" but thats it...

Hi Bob. theoretically you can do that but the smaller the chainring the closer your chain gets to the chainstay so the risk of your chain slapping against the stay on your small cog in the back gets bigger. With a good chainstay protector and a ideal chain length you can ride that setup.

Hi Craig, sorry for the late reply. Missed your question here. Same tire clearance on all sizes, so 700x46c usually fits (I say usually because I'm sure there's a tire out there that is listed as 46c but fits very different from other 46c tires, etc, etc).
